Numa's New "Digs" in BsAs

Numa has a wonderful personality and he is very gregarious, constantly making friends as he goes along. It’ really fun to watch him operate when meeting people. To him it doesn’t matter if they are young or old, rich or poor, he talks to them all. They seem so to enjoy meeting him and at some point during their conversation there is laughter. Now I’m not absolutely sure if it is just his irascible personality or maybe he slaughters the language a bit although I doubt that it is the latter. Either way he is a funny guy.

Here is a shot out his backdoor

Notice the missing light fixtures. In Argentina it is customary to take all light fixtures when you move but you have to leave a light bulb so all over the house there are wires coming out of the walls with a bulb hanging from them.

We have spent part of an evening and the following two days looking for “botas”, boots, for Zoe. It hasn’t been easy as it is summer here and all the places have sandals out. So many shoulder shrugs and “try here or there” suggestions that do not work out.
Numa and Mike have been troopers in helping me try to hunt down a suitable pair and finally we did manage to find some. I snap pictures of the ones that seem like Zoe may like and we head back home on the train.

We arrived home, showered, changed into some dry clothes and headed out for dinner. While out I email photos to Zoe and we chat about the boots via Skype.

Zoe checked out the pictures and made her request known. Fortunately she gave me her 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices. It seems like such an easy thing to just go back to the store and pick them up, right? I wish!
