This first one is of Jorge. He is the guy who saw the accident, stopped and called the ambulance, helped us at the hospital, and suggested the wonderful hospital in Veracruz that has been amazing helping Scott. Without Jorge our situation would have been MUCH more difficult. Thank you Jorge!

Here we are at an outdoor coffee place where we met a couple of other club members.
Here we are at the bar in Bennigan's talking about motorcycles, airplanes, and skydiving.
Finally here is the pic with Steve and Olivia at a small restaurant between our hotel and the hospital. This a.m. we talked to Scott's surgeon who said he could do more for Scott as all had gone so well he was no longer needed. We then visited Scott and received the news that he will be moved out of ICU this afternoon and he would have expanded visiting hours.
Things are definitely on the upswing here as I just talked to Zoe who feeling better and will spend the next day or so at here Mom's. All Scott's stuff has been sorted and transferred to Steve and Olivia's hotel. Jim left for San Cristobal this a.m. and we will catch up to him tomorrow. Back on the two-wheeler again-YEA!

So sad to hear about your friend. I hope everything goes as well as it can for you guys.
As always, each step of the way you have done the right things by keeping priorities of caring for people first...as a good husband and friend who stands by.
I'll ask that your guardian angel gets some duty relief as he probably is developing an ulcer and may need reinforcements sent in!
Enjoy the rest of your trip. Love, Your brother Mark
